A beautifully designed interior can only be experienced through a beautifully executed installation. The finest furniture, the most carefully selected textiles, the most considered lighting scheme – none of it delivers its full impact if the installation is poorly managed, poorly sequenced, or poorly styled.

At Atlantic Interiors, installation is not the end of the process – it is the culmination of it. From the day a design is approved and the first order is placed, every procurement decision, every lead time negotiation, every delivery coordination is made with the installation day in mind. The result is a process that is calm, controlled, and entirely focused on the moment you walk into your completed space.

Our installation team works to a precise room-by-room placement plan – developed from the approved design drawings and updated through the procurement process. Every piece has a designated position. Every styling decision has been made in advance. The installation day itself is an exercise in organised precision – efficient, professional, and unhurried.

Once furniture and fittings are in place, our styling team completes the space – arranging soft furnishings, dressing shelves and surfaces, positioning artwork, hanging mirrors, and adding the final layer of objects and accessories that transforms a well-furnished room into a truly complete interior.

Delivery Planning & Access Management

We coordinate all deliveries in advance – confirming access requirements, lift dimensions, stairwell measurements, and site-specific logistics with all suppliers and your property manager or site team.

Furniture Building & Placement

Every item of furniture is built, assembled, and placed by our installation team – working from the approved placement plan with care and precision. Protective measures are used throughout to protect your floors, walls, and existing finishes.

Soft Furnishings & Textile Installation

Curtains, blinds, and other window treatments are hung and dressed; upholstered pieces are fitted with their cushions and covers; beds are made and dressed; rugs are laid and positioned.

Lighting Commissioning

We work with your electrician or lighting engineer to ensure that every light fitting is connected, positioned, and set at the correct level – and that any smart lighting systems are programmed to the approved scene settings.

Artwork Hanging & Positioning

Every piece of artwork, mirror, and wall-hung decorative object is positioned, fixed, and levelled to the approved scheme – with no compromise on precision.

Final Accessory Styling & Dressing

The finishing layer: ceramics, books, flowers, candles, objects, and the hundred small decisions that give a space warmth, personality, and a sense of being genuinely lived-in rather than simply furnished.

Post-Installation Client Walkthrough

Once the installation is complete, we walk through every room with you – explaining decisions, noting anything to be addressed, and ensuring you are entirely happy with every element of the finished space before we leave.

Our Process

A great installation is the result of careful preparation in the weeks that precede it. We plan every detail in advance so that the day itself runs smoothly, calmly, and exactly as your completed design intends.

Step 1 – In the weeks before

Deliveries are scheduled and sequenced. Access is confirmed and logistics planned. The placement plan is finalised. Every item is confirmed as ready and inspected before it leaves the supplier or warehouse.

Step 2 – Installation day

Our team arrives first. Protective coverings are laid. Deliveries arrive in sequence. Furniture is built, placed, and checked against the plan room by room. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is left to chance.

Step 3 – Styling

Once furniture is in position, the styling begins – soft furnishings, lighting adjustments, artwork, objects. This is the stage that requires the most sensitivity and judgement, and we give it the time it deserves.

Step 4 – The reveal

When everything is ready, you see your completed space for the first time. We walk through it with you, answer any questions, and ensure that every element is exactly as you expected – and that the moment lives up to the months of work that created it.

How long does installation typically take?
This depends entirely on the scale of the project. A single room can often be installed and styled in a single day. A whole home may require two to five days, depending on the number of rooms, volume of furniture, and complexity of the styling. We will give you a clear timeline estimate as part of your project plan.
Do I need to be present during installation?
It is not essential for you to be on-site throughout — many clients prefer to arrive for the final reveal. We do ask that you or a representative are available for the post-installation walkthrough at the end of the day, so that any final adjustments can be made before we leave.
What happens if something arrives damaged on installation day?
We inspect all items before and during installation. Where damage is found, we document it immediately, manage the supplier claim, and arrange replacement as quickly as possible. For full Atlantic Interiors projects, our procurement team will already have managed quality inspection at the point of delivery, minimising the likelihood of issues on the day.
Can you style a space that has already been furnished?
Yes. We offer a standalone styling and dressing service for clients who have a furnished space that feels unfinished or that is not quite achieving the look they had in mind. This typically involves a site visit, a styling consultation, and a half-day or full-day styling session to complete the space.
